Amazon to launch new fulfillment center, creating 500 jobs in Newnan

Amazon.com will open a new distribution center in Newnan and is expected to create 500 jobs, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced Saturday.

Starting on day one, the e-commerce retail company will create 500 new, full-time jobs with industry-leading pay and comprehensive benefits at the new facility, according to a press release sent by the governor’s office. Read more from The Newnan Times-Herald.
